I remember when I was a teenager in the eighties I got my first real job hired at $3.50. Well the minimum wage was $3.10! But the more I learned the more money I made! By 1981 I was making $7.00 an hour! But something happened because in 1990 I was lucky to get a job paying me $8.00 an hour! I worked in the Electronics industry by then about 12 years but even though I was working for the same business I had been laid off but rehired through a temporary business! Temp jobs have in a way DESTROYED our work force because businesses don't want to pay for insurances! Manufacturing needs to come back to America and American businesses need to start paying for all their workers! Temp work used to be for 6 months then they'd hire you...then it turned into letting you go but a month later they'd bring you back as a temp worker! It was just so they didn't have to hire you! What happened to American businesses?
